Greetings from the Director of Biophilia Rehabilitation Academy

It is a great pleasure to hold the 18th International Biophilia Rehabilitation Conference (IBRC2023) at Keio University in Yokohama, Japan. I am Toshiyuki Tanaka, chairperson of the Biophilia Rehabilitation Academy in Japan. On the occasion of the IBRC2023, It is my honor to greet congratulations. Dr. Kenji Ushizawa is a well-known statistician in Japan. It is no exaggeration to say that it is thanks to his efforts that the activities of this academy have been sustained to this day. I want to congratulate the International Biophilia Rehabilitation Academy (IBRA) for being the conference chairperson on having such a renowned statistician. Our basic research and activities, both domestic and international, have been conducted for an extended period. The results have been recognized to the extent of the ISPRM 2019 and the bilateral Polish Academy of Sciences (PAM) and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) seminar. This meeting is almost a joint meeting with the domestic academy. Still, it is prepared because it is necessary to consult each other regarding organizational changes based on future dissemination. We will discuss how to promote the dissemination of research results to improve the welfare of humankind based on basic research at the Board of Directors. We look at what kind of activities to carry out and consider how we can be a better organization for the future. I mentioned our future during the IBRC and BRC joint events. In closing, I expect this international conference to be fruitful for all.
